Privacy notice

1. Scope and controller

This notice explains what personal data this website (atsf.ch) processes, why, and what rights you have. It applies to atsf.ch and all of its subpages.

Controller: TSF UrbaNature, a Swiss association (CHE-414.390.198), Rue des Savoises 15, 1205 Geneva, Switzerland — contact@atsf.ch. See our imprint for its legal representation. Pending: no dedicated privacy contact is named yet; only the general inbox exists today.

2. Personal data we collect

• Data you provide through our inquiry forms — "I have a space", "I want to fund nature", "I want my team to participate": name, email address, organization (optional), and pathway-specific details (site location, space type, approximate size / support type and budget / participant count, timeframe, format), plus a free-text message. No form offers a file upload.
• Data you send us directly by email to contact@atsf.ch, for example via the Contact page or the "Support TSF" link — its content and extent depend entirely on what you choose to write.
• Pending: this site's own code does not log or transmit visitor data to us, but whatever infrastructure ultimately hosts it may keep standard web-server access logs (IP address, browser type, request time) — see §5.

We do not use cookies, we store nothing on your device, and we do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts of any kind. Your choice of language is carried by the page address itself (for example /fr/ for French), so nothing has to be remembered about you.

3. Why we process it

• To respond to your inquiry about offering a space, funding a project, or a team programme.
• To respond to general questions sent to contact@atsf.ch.
• Pending: if a cantonal tax-exemption / public-benefit ruling exists (the homepage already states TSF is "recognised as a public-benefit organisation"), a purpose covering donation receipts should be added here once confirmed.

4. Our inquiry forms, today

Specific to this website's current state: the three "Get involved" forms are not yet connected to a server. When you submit one, your browser does not send your answers to us over the internet — it opens a pre-filled email to contact@atsf.ch in your own email application, with your answers copied into the message body. You then decide whether to send it. If you don't, we never receive it.

Pending: once a form-processing service is connected, this notice must name that service, its location and its own data-handling terms.

5. Hosting and technical logs

Pending: this notice cannot yet name a hosting provider, its location, or its log-retention practice — TSF UrbaNature or its web developer still needs to confirm this.

6. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking script. Nearly everything — including both typefaces used — is served directly from the site's own files.

One exception: the homepage and the "What we do" page currently display three stock photographs loaded live from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), a third-party image service. Loading them sends your browser's IP address and basic request data to Unsplash's servers, located outside Switzerland. Pending: decision to keep, replace, or self-host these images — if kept, Unsplash's own privacy policy must be linked here.

7. Who else sees your data

• Email: messages sent to contact@atsf.ch are handled by pending: name of email/mailbox provider.
• Image delivery: Unsplash (§6), for the two pages named above only.
• No other third party currently receives personal data through this website.

8. International data transfers

Loading the Unsplash images (§6) transfers technical connection data outside Switzerland, to Unsplash's US infrastructure. Pending: the location of the site's hosting and email providers, which would determine whether further transfers occur. No personal data submitted through the inquiry forms is transferred abroad by this website's own code today, because that data is never sent to any server (§4).

9. How long we keep it

• Inquiry-form content: not retained by this website at all today, since it never reaches us (§4); once you send the resulting email, retention follows the practice of your own mailbox and ours.
• Emails received at contact@atsf.ch: pending: retention period.
• Language preference: stored only on your device, for as long as your browser keeps it or until you clear your browsing data — we cannot access or delete it remotely.
• Pending: server/access log retention period, see §5.

10. Data security

Pending: confirmation of HTTPS/TLS on the live domain, and any other technical or organizational measures — this cannot be verified from the website's source code alone.

11. Your rights

Subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) (pending: whether GDPR should also be referenced, depending on whether the site knowingly addresses visitors in the EU), you may ask us at contact@atsf.ch to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and why (access);
• correct inaccurate data (rectification);
• delete data we no longer need (erasure);
• object to processing, or ask that it be restricted;
• receive a copy of data you provided, in a portable format, where applicable.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at edoeb.admin.ch.

12. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice as the site's data practices change — in particular once a form-processing service, hosting provider, or analytics tool is added. Pending: effective/last-updated date, to be inserted on publication.
