Founded in Geneva
Ecology, made human.
We bring land, knowledge, funding and people together to make urban nature possible — and keep it growing.
= a living place
Cities are ecosystems. We help them live.
TSF UrbaNature is a Geneva-based, public-benefit NGO. We work across roofs, façades, school grounds, company sites and neighbourhood spaces to return nature to the urban fabric.
Our role is connective by design: we identify opportunities, assemble the right expertise, involve the people who use the place, and support living systems beyond planting day.
Ways of working:
renature, participate, inspire
Shared purpose:
co-naturing our cities
nature is thestarting point
From greener roofs to living systems.
TSF began with a simple conviction: underused urban surfaces can become valuable habitats. That vision has grown from roofs and terraces into a broader practice of urban renaturation.
Today, our work embraces microforests, edible landscapes, rain gardens, biodiversity measures, participatory planting and ecological learning — always adapted to the place and the people around it.

Ecological responsibility
We favour resilient, locally grounded solutions that serve biodiversity, climate and people together.
Participation
A place becomes meaningful when the people around it help imagine, create and care for it.
Practical creativity
We treat every constraint as a design question and every urban surface as a possible habitat.
Joy
Serious ecological work can still be generous, tactile and full of shared pleasure.
Different expertise. One living mission.
Our core team is supported by volunteers, scientific and honorary committees, technical specialists and an active network of project partners.
